APPLICATIONS
Dodecyl/tetradecyl tertiary amine is an intermediate for the preparation of surfactants such as 1227 bactericide
(dodecyldimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride), dodecyl/tetradecyl dimethyl betaine, dodecyl/tetradecyl dimethyl
amine oxide, dodecyl/tetradecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, and dodecyl/tetradecyl trimethyl ammonium
bromide. It is widely used in industries such as daily chemicals, detergent industry, textiles, and oil fields,
mainly playing roles in anti-corrosion, sterilization, washing, softening, antistatic, emulsification, etc.
